There will be a KFC meeting/float preparations done this coming Sunday the 11th. Please eat at snack 'n yak and then meet downstairs in Abby's Sunday School room (unless we announce different in church on Sunday). We will have additional food, such as PB&J sandwiches, chips, caprisuns and Abby Walls family is bringing a snack. Parents can pick kids up by 2:00 p.m. You may want to bring old clothes for kids to play in and they will be using markers, etc. to decorate.
The Heritage Days Parade will be on Sunday, September 25th and we will get you more details about where to meet, etc. closer to time. The theme is Pride and Progress. We have ordered our shirts, which are going to be red, white & blue tye dye with our KFC logo across it, which will go with our float for the parade. Please plan to send a bag of candy along with your kids to hand out during the parade.
The shirts are actually going to be $15.00 a piece because of the tye dye, but do not worry about paying more than $10, since that is all we told you that it would be. We will cover the difference. Anyone though that still needs to order a shirt, I need to know asap and will need the $10.00 for it by no later than this Sunday, the 11th.
